Yellowstone Country Inn

Car broke down on the way to West Yellowstone with family and we had to change our stay from Thursday to Friday. We were staying at a different motel (see Ho Hum reviews for full story) and they were not willing to change our night. Our family who was staying at Yellowstone County Inn had night changed and they were so helpful and caring. We did end up making it to West Yellowstone by Friday but chose to stay at Yellowstone Country Inn instead. Location is in walking distance of everything and we spent a lovely evening on the porch swings. Thanks to all the help with our family during such a stressful time. So glad we were able to get a room the night we were there.

I will doubt it’s above $200. We lived in 110 and really like it. Super warm air conditioning Comfortable bed and clean new pillows Plenty of towels Strong hot water pressure in the shower Cons: incorporating cleaning and poor soundproofing 1. Indian front desk guy said ABSOLUTELY no late checkout past 11am. 2. No working Wi-Fi. There were two networks, but neither of them worked. 3. You can hear footsteps from the room above and nearby. Hear EVERYTHING clearly from outside. 4. Slow bathroom drain. 5. One bed faces the air conditioner, and the other faces the door. 6. Weak water flow from the vanity sink. 7. Found toothpaste in the sink and chewing gum on the toilet seat.

We booked the room before reading the reviews. That being said our room looked like it was newly updated. Our AC was new but didn't work as their electric was not grounded right so it kept tripping the gfi. The front desk guy rescued us by providing a fan. It was kind of expensive for not having the ac, no coffee pot, breakfast, water, fridge, soap, or shampoo (again front desk guy bought us a bottle) It is walking distance from a lot of shops and restaurants.

Daniel T at the front desk is amazing, so helpful the rooms are gorgeous for the price I was upstairs and had a wonderful experience here. Everything smells fresh and new linens were fresh clean and white my room was perfect I was so worried since it was an older hotel this should be a 4 star hotel or more. I only stay at nice classy places. Again book here I am from Butler pa and on my dream vacation. Can't say how helpful Daniel was thank you staying 3 nights.

Great experience, but next time I enter west Yellowstone, I will reserve my room ahead of time. Fortunately, we found the Yellowstone County inn with a good rate and just a couple of openings. The young lady at the front desk was a great help and joyful.

Employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful. You wont get better service anywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

5 minutes from the west Yellowstone airport and 5 minutes away from west entrance of Yellowstone park. Check in at 3 pm and check out at 11 am. Room look older but it is clean. AC unit works fine. Shower and sink runs hot water quickly. Microwave and mini fridge works. Stayed for 4 nights because we wanted to save money for other expenses in the park. I spend all day in the park, then the return to room for sleep so it doesn’t need to be a high end or luxurious room. But the walls are thin and I can hear people walking and talking, so bring ear plugs. WiFi isn’t the strongest so plan on using your cellular data to watch your shows. TV is good for local news but buffers a lot for streaming services like Netflix.

We had a pleasant stay at Yellowstone Country Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Since we were mostly out exploring the park, we just needed a place to sleep, and this was perfect for that, especially for the price. Parking is limited, but it’s very close to the West Entrance, making it a convenient choice for visiting Yellowstone.
